time to celebrate... well almost.

So this picture pretty much sums up how I am feeling right now. I FINISHED my research paper. Finding the motivation to do this was really hard for me, but I finally got it done. Now, I only have to do one more project, which should be fairly easy, take three tests, PACK, and then PEACE OUT REXBURG!

Day 18- 5 things that irritate ME about the opposite/same sex

i cant stand BOYS
1. who change when they around their friends- many boys become JERKS when they are around their guy friends.
2. who objectify girls...we are not just a piece of meat.
3. who text someone else the whole time we are together... what is the point of even being around me?
4. who use girls so they can date their friends.
5. who whine and mope around when they are sick.

i cant stand GIRLS
1. who go on one date with a guy, and then claim that they dated... he is now her ex. they hang out for a couple days... randomly hook up and talk on the phone OCCASIONALLY... he is now her ex. I just can't stand that. its quite pathetic, really.
2. who act dumb when they really are smart.
3. who wear too much makeup, so it looks like you can scratch it off with your nails.
4. who are messy.
5. who are overly tan. like its nice to look sunkissed, but there is definitely a point when you look BAD.

Day 19- Your reflection in the mirror.

I already posted a picture of me... in fact it was taken like 5 minutes ago. That is what my reflection looks like. But what do I see when I look in the mirror? I see a child of God. I know that in His eyes, I am a precious creation, and that I am beautiful. And that is what matters to me most when I look in the mirror.

Day 17: What you would like your future to be like?

When I think of my future, I wonder.... what my life will be like in 5, 10, 15....20 years down the road. I can only think of one word to describe the way I want my life to be like, and that is HAPPINESS. In the future, I imagine myself as happy as can be. Furthermore, I want to be successful in all my endeavors. I don't want anything holding me back from achieving my dreams. I picture myself as a wife, a mother, a hard worker. I could sit here all day and list out every detail of my fantasy of my future, but would that be realistic? I can only set goals, and strive and reach for them. Overall, I just want to be surrounded by the ones I love.

So... lately I have been a failure at this whole blog challenge thing. But lets be honest... I have failed because I have been in Utah this past weekend (PICTURES TO COME SOON!!).

Day 14- A show that you are currently addicted to.
So, I really haven't been a fan of TV lately... especially being in school. However, when I went home over the 7-week break last summer, this show started. My sister watched it, so I thought I would join. Well, guess what happened? I got sucked into it. I watched the latest season, and I will admit, it was intense. I even got some of my friends hooked on it too! There is a book series, that I plan on reading.

Day 15- Something you don't leave the house without
I absolutely cannot leave the house without my chapstick. I can't live without it, especially when living in the dry of Idaho. Its a life saver :)

Husband and wife have a solemn responsibility to love and care for each other and for their children. "Children are an heritage of the Lord" (Psalms 127:3). Parents have a sacred duty to rear their children in love and righteousness, to provide for their physical and spiritual needs, to teach them to love and serve one another, to observe the commandments of God and to be law-abiding citizens wherever they live. Husbands and wives—mothers and fathers—will be held accountable before God for the discharge of these obligations.

We warn that individuals who violate covenants of chastity, who abuse spouse or offspring, or who fail to fulfill family responsibilities will one day stand accountable before God. Further, we warn that the disintegration of the family will bring upon individuals, communities, and nations the calamities foretold by ancient and modern prophets.

This says it all. I have a strong testimony that gender is a very important characteristic, and I know that children are entitled to having both a father and a mother to raise them. However, I do understand that some people face the challenge of being homosexual in this life. This is purely a trial that they experience on this earth.

NSo today.... I started my research paper. Now let me clarify so I dont sound like TOO much of a procrastinator. I have another week to complete it before the rough draft is due. So I really am not that stressed. And to be honest, I am actually excited to write it. I am writing about Autism and what the best treatment for it is. The paper only has to be 8-10 pages, double spaced.

Day 13- Your views on drugs and alcohol

NO, NO, NO, NO. Drugs and alcohol are BAD. They alter the state of mind, and impair thinking. They have poor effects on health and they are addictive. Those who use drugs do not realize that their loved ones also suffer from their choices to use drugs.

Overall.. it was a fun, relaxing weekend. And tonight... I got the best news ever! Anna and Jeremy are going to come visit me.. IN REXBURG! I could not be any more excited. It will be fun to have them come see my life at school and stay with me, and it will be another fun adventure driving back home together!

Lets be honest.... I don't have a makeup bag really.. just a drawer. Everything is scattered everywhere. I have eyeshadow, concealer, coverup, blush, bronzer, eyeliner, and mascara... the works :)

Day 12- relationship status.... SINGLE

Yes, I am single. How do I like it? Single life is great! I enjoy being able to date around and meet new people, and learn what characteristics I want. I want to continue dating around and having fun. When the time is right, and when I meet the right person, I will settle down. I am ready to be a wife and a mother and to start the next stage of my life. But why did I pick this picture? Because it is me being goofy. I am goofy, we all know this. I just want to be with someone who will let me be my goofy self!

Day 7: Your dream wedding

Every girl dreams of her fairytale ending. The big dress. Prince charming. A carriage to take her away. .. The list goes on as they picture all the minor details of their wedding... from the ring to the dress to the cake. For me... I could only imagine my perfect day. 

I see myself sitting across from the altar from the man of my dreams. He stares lovingly into my eyes as we are sealed for time and all eternity. And that sums it up. That is truly all I need. I could go on for hours with hypothetical wedding plans: colors, flowers, food, etc... but the meaning behind it all is being with the one I love forever.
