im moving to PROVO for the summer.

So, once again... my plans have changed. But its amazing how everything up to this point has worked out SO perfectly for me. This summer I will be moving to Provo, Utah to go to BYU for the summer. I am doing the visiting student program and will be taking the 4 classes I need to GRADUATE in July from BYU-Idaho. I am really excited for this opportunity. I am also a little nervous because I dont know anyone down there... but it will definitely be an amazing learning experience!


Here is my notification that I got in as a visiting student.


My classes for Spring--Psych of Gender and Behavioral Neurobiology. It will probably be tough but I am way excited for these two classes.


Classes for Summer--Abnormal and Sensation and Perception. Abnormal will be REALLY interesting, however I am not even sure what sensation and perception is about!

oh hey... i went HOME!

So I was feeling a little bit of mid-semester blues, and missing home like CRAZY! So I went on a road trip--15 hours each way to visit home for the long weekend.



The weather was really good driving home! (good meaning--not snowing at all.... dont get me wrong it was still FREEZING outside) The drive was nice and actually went by fast.



DAY 1--We we went to Costco to get some groceries.. then we went to the bowling alley and bowled for an hour. After that, we went to La Cocina for dinner. I LOVE their food. After dinner, I had the chance to go to Alyssa Richardson's (Clyde) wedding reception. She was definitely surprised to see me... and she looked BEAUTIFUL!! Congrats to her and Jaron!

They wouldnt let Jeremy bowl--so Anna would carry him and he would "help mommy bowl"

DAY 2--We just took it easy. I went to church with mom, then afterwards my dad took me out for a Sushi lunch. SO YUMMY!!! We had a steak dinner with potatoes. After Mom, Jordan, Lauren (Jordan's gf), and I played Milleniumopoly. I was winning for awhile but Jordan came from behind and own. It was a fun relaxing day. We just played games and joked around.



DAY 3--We went to the Santa Monica Pier. The weather was BEAUTIFUL! It was so nice to be out in the warm... and at the beach. We walked around the pier, played some games, and walked around 3rd Street Promenade. We had lunch at Johnny Rockets, and it was way yummy!


I love my mom so much. I can honestly say all I needed was a motherly hug and some time with my mom. It gave me just the recharge that I need to finish up the semester.

This was a fun little game we all FAILED miserably at. The goal is to climb the latter and ring the bell at the top. However, you have to stay SUPER balanced. We all fell off right after getting on. It was still fun though!

I am so grateful that I had the opportunity to go home. Just being with my family made the long trip worthwhile. I love my family so much, and I am grateful for all they do for me. They really are the best.

it was a good night.

so last night I made it home from the library early (early meaning 8:30). I was really tired form my long drive back from california... so I took it easy. and what better way to do so? drinking a juice box!

today.

today i dont like idaho. today i dont like homework. today i dont like school. today i dont like the cold. today i dont like the snow. today i dont like psychology. today i dont want to be in rexburg. today i miss my family. today i miss jeremy's little kisses on my forehead. today i want to be in california. but that is just today... i wonder what tomorrow will bring?

This past weekend, Amy was in town, so all SIX of us were in town at the same time. How did we celebrate? EATING of course. Kim and Aaron had all of us over for dinner. It was so much fun to reminisce and laugh with each other. I am so blessed to have had lived with these AMAZING people. I could have never asked for a better semester with them.

plans are always changing

plans are ALWAYS changing. I was suppose to graduate in July... but sadly I am now graduating in December. The school doesn't have all 4 of the psychology classes I need in the spring time. I was really bitter at first. In fact, I was EXTREMELY angry and saddened by it. I was SO ready to get out of Idaho and move on to the next chapter of my life. But, then I realized that God has other plans for me.Looking back at the course of my life over the past few years I can see how the hand of God has blessed me in so many ways. I had so many plans for myself that I NEVER saw actually happen. Like my first plan--to go to community college to get my AA in nursing. That changed when I was blessed with the opportunity to work with special needs children at the daycare. I know that God placed those special individuals in my life at that time. Then comes my first denial into BYU--right before I was offered a full time job at Sunshine. Just before my second denial into BYU--the last day of admissions I knew that I needed to apply to BYU-Idaho. And now this... I don't know what the future holds for me. I don't know why I am stuck in Idaho for another 6 months, but I know that God works in mysterious ways. I have faith that everything is going to be just fine, and that I will be happy.
