Havent posted in awhile. Its Sunday, and I am all ready for church. I PROMISE ill give an update on life soon!!!

pageant.

So... I decided to try something new: A pageant. The Miss SCV Pageant. Yup... elegant wear, swimsuits, poufy dresses, and high heels. For me, this was an entirely new experience, but it was interesting. I enjoyed it, and I am grateful for the opportunity I had to participate. Everything about pageant night was a blur. Although I didn't win, I did get the titles off Miss SCV Congeniality and Miss SCV Spirit. I'd say not too shabby for my first pageant!! Maybe I will do it again next year!!

sleep.

Waking up at 5:30 has been getting harder and harder!! I usually end up snoozing, which doesnt help at all! Needless to say... naps are my best friend these days.

house.

In a few days, I will be moving into grandma's old house with a few roommates. I am looking forward to "being on my own", even though the house is down the street from my parents, it should still be fun!

glasses.

I got some new glasses.... they are kinda fun!!

Africa.

So... I am for sure going to Africa (June 29-July 14). I couldn't be more excited and grateful for the opportunity to go and serve the children in the orphanages. It will be the experience of a lifetime. Part of preparing was getting vaccinated both through shots and pills. Take a look...

magic mountain and dance.

A couple weeks ago, I got off early. So I thought it would be fun to spend a few hours at Magic Mountain to actually USE my season pass. I could get a friend in free, so Kristin tagged along. We had a lot of fun, and got on quite a few rides in our short time there.

After six flags, we went to the YSA dance. To be honest, I wasn't expecting it to be all that fun... but it ended up being way fun. It was a sports theme, so we got out our Lakers jerseys to represent our team. 

Taurus World Stunt Awards.

Kristin and I had the opportunity to attend the Taurus World Stunt Awards. It was fun to attend a Hollywood event and get all dressed up. Kristin's grandpa was a stuntman so she got to experience part of his world. It was so fun!

disneyland.

My friend Kristin works for Disney, so we went to Disneyland.... twice--in like a matter of 2 weeks. It was so much fun! I love Disneyland, and I am glad I found a friend who shares that excitement with me!!

car accident.

A few weeks ago, I was rear-ended. My car had some damage that needed to be repaired... this is what I've been driving around for the past week and a half... it kinda reminds me of an old man retirement car. Its new though, which is great cause it smells like new car. Its been fun to have a little change, but I will admit... I CANT WAIT TO GET MY CAR BACK!!

monster truck jam

This post is LONG over-due, but in February, we went to the Monster Truck show in Anaheim. It was seriously so much fun to see all the giant trucks fly through the air!
