So.... its always been some kind of pathetic dream of mine to be a character performer at disneyland... more specifically, a princess. This Saturday, I am auditioning to be a character performer for Disney Cruises. I most likely won't get the part-- but I think it will be a fun and exciting opportunity.

I made a decision. Rather than doing a "blog challenge" with set days, I am going to just find random things to blog about each day-- or even multiple times a day. Either way-- this is my way of being able to blog well, as well as have the opportunity to express myself.

Basic things about me.

I am short. I love being short and little, but don't underestimate my abilities.

I work with kids--its a fun job

but I really would like to start a career... or maybe move on to bigger and greater things. 

I have a degree in Psychology

  but I am not quite sure what I want to do with it anymore

I love my family more than anything else in the world

although my family is slightly nuts--they make me extremely happy

I love music--I feel it is one of the best ways to express yourself. 

I am a nerd. I love school, and I value an education.

I have only kissed 2 boys-- and I am proud of it. 

My favorite colors are yellow and blue. They are happy colors

I am addicted to Pinterest--I love planning my imaginary wedding and dream vacations as well as my ideal wardrobe (TOO FUN)

I am a really enthusiastic person, however I can get shy when meeting new people.

As a rule of thumb--If I am interested in you--- I definitely am shy at first, and maybe a little awkward

I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints. I love the gospel and all the happiness it brings to me. 

weekend adventure.

This weekend, my friends Ausytn, Brittany, and I decided we needed some kind of adventure. Saturday night we went to a St. Patricks Day party in Rancho Santa Margarita. It was a fun dance party. We decided that instead of driving home afterwards, we would stay at Brittany's grandpa's house in La Habra so we could ward hop the next day. We chose to go to the San Clemente Ward. Overall, the weekend was WAY fun and MUCH needed. I had a blast with these girls, and look forward to many more fun adventures with them.

Lately I have been so absent to the blogging world!! I feel so bad! Maybe I need to find one of those 30 day blog challenges and do that again so I can get back into the routine of blogging regularly. I sometimes feel I have so much to say, but I just don't even know where to start!! So here is my promise: to get back on track of blogging as frequently as I possibly can!!

So far this year, it seems my life has been taking some unexpected twists and turns. It has been hard to handle a few of these twists and turns, but I am doing it, and I am doing so with a smile on my face. I know life is not suppose to be easy, and in fact, I am grateful for all the hardships I face because they make me a stronger person. But, what is next for me?!....  I have some big plans ahead, and I am excited to see where my life leads me to. I am walking with my head up high, and a smile on my face, because I know that I choose to be happy and make the most of this thing we call life.

Three years ago, I had a job at Sunshine called the Head Kindergarten Counselor. I was at the site all day with the little K's. It was such a wonderful experience. I became so close to some of the kids and families, and I cherish that experience. 

I still keep in contact with some of the families.  Last night I had the wonderful opportunity to babysit some of my old K's-- the twins, Emilie and Luc. They are SO grown up now. We had a blast playing hide and go seek, playing with iPods, and with my computer. They are the sweetest and most easy going kids ever. I loved every minute with them.
