bucket list

So I got this idea from my friend Leigh's blog... and I thought it was a good idea. Here is my current list of things I want to do before I die.

I want to go to Italy.
I want to get married in the San Diego Temple... or Los Angeles.
4 kids. I really want to be a mom and to have a family.
At some point I want to get my PhD
I want to work with special needs kids and make a difference in their lives.
I want to go to New York and buy something at an expensive store. Its ok to splurge at least once in your life... right? I will also see a Broadway show while there.
I want to go to Paris.
I want a dog. and a cat. and a horse. and a pig. basically I should just live on a farm.
I want to be a park ranger for a summer.

Is it sad that this is all I can think of right now?

LOVING the Fall!

So this is my favorite time of the year! All the colors are SO beautiful. The weather has been perfect lately. However, it is starting to get cold--and snow is on its way soon. Sarah and I had some friends come visit us this weekend from Oregon... so us girls decided we wanted to have a fall photo shoot. Here are some of the pictures we took.

It was a little bit chilly, but it was still a nice day.

We wanted a picture of all of our boots togehter--but we were by ourselves so we thought we would be artistic.

As we were driving away, there was a couple, so we pulled over and asked them to take our picture. The wife pulls out a nice camera and said "how bout we take some pictures of you girls." Her husband took our camera and shot a few while she was taking pictures.

BESTIES. I am so blessed to have Sarah as my roommate. We have so much fun together! I am glad that we will be able to be roommates again in the winter... and hopefully the spring.

This is one of the pictures that the lady took for us. We were so lucky to have bumped into the couple. They were such warm-hearted people! It was awesome.

And it starts again...

WELL! School started back up! It has already been an eventful semester! To start with... I have AMAZING roommates. We all get along so well...it really is great! School is going to be really hard, but I am excited for the challenge. I am taking 4 Psychology classes (Principles of Behavioral Learning, Social Psychology, History and Systems of Psychology, and Personality Theory). I am also taking a practicum for my minor, and working with 2 year-olds in the lab. So far, I am having tons of fun, and meeting lots of cool people. I am keeping myself busy with homework, and twice a week I go to an "Abs that Rock" class. I have been running a lot (since the weather is still good). FUNNY STORY: SOOO Sarah and I were riding an electric scooter together around the park during FHE. We were joyously riding around FHE families, and Sarah was making sound effects. Well, we were going full speed (which was not fast) between two trees. HOWEVER, we did not see a slackline tied to the two trees. We went straight into it, and flew off. It was pretty funny. We were lucky we didnt get hurt. But this is one of those times that I REALLY wish was being recorded.

a bad idea that seemed really good.

So Sarah came and visited the last week of school. We decided we wanted to be random and adventurous and go to Beaver Dick Park to build a bonfire and have a campout. We slept on a tarp... ok so not a smart idea.. two girls sleeping under the stars in kinda the middle of nowhere.. we only lasted until like 1:30 and we went to her brothers and slept on his living room floor. Even though it was not the smartest idea... it was still a fun adventure!

GO LAKERS!

This past weekend, Breann, Amber, and I had the opportunity to go to the Lakers/Jazz playoff game in Salt Lake. It was SO much fun! The first half was kinda boring because the Lakers were losing.. and it wasnt even an exciting game! However, after the second half... the Lakers brought their game.. and in the 4th quarter they WON!

HAPPY MOTHERS DAY!

Yesterday was Mothers Day... so in honor of my mom I am just going to list just a few of the amazing things about her
1) Mom is an easy target to pick on... she takes it like a champ
2) My mom and I share MANY inside jokes.. and we can always laugh together about them
3) My mom is a very patient woman.
4) My mom has the biggest heart of anyone I know.
5) My mom is a very strong person. She has set such an amazing example for me.
6) She has a strong testimony of Jesus Christ and of the Atonement
7) My mom is SO supportive of me in all that I do
8) She will still hold my hand in public.. even though I am all grown up.

I appreciate ALL she does for me. She truly is my BEST friend. LOVE YOU MOM!

21st Birthday...

I know I am a few MONTHS late.... but better late than never... right?? My roommates were so awesome and threw me a birthday party for my 21st birthday.
