This year at Sunshine (where I work) we had an ice cream social. Part of the social was a boxcar competition. Each child was encouraged to make at home a boxcar to enter into a competition. In addition, each of the rooms had to make a car to help encourage the kids to make one at home. In first grade, we made a train called the sunshine express. It was fun!!
